Tourism industry unlike other tertiary businesses involves a wide spread range of activities like construction, regional development, investment, employment etc

>> Consumption trends are favorable towards the hospitality sector

Tourism in Singapore Today

With more than 8 million visitors entering Singapore every year, tourism is a major industry for Singapore and accounts for about 5% of the city-state's gross domestic product and is being given high priority in long-term development plans. In 2010 Singapore attracted 11,638,663 tourists over twice Singapore's total population.

Kinds of  Tourism​

A tourist in Singapore has a type of diverse selection of places to visit with the plethora of choices before them. The tourism market is rich with destinations for leisure, medical, educational, commercial, ecological and sports purposes. The  cosmopolitan city environment attracts a large number of tourists annually including those looking for adventure as well as those looking for a place to relax and rejuvenate .
